INTRODUCTION TO SCREEN PRINTING

  • Different types of Screen Printing Inks
  • Familiarization with fabrics used in screen printing
  • Spot color separation
  • The proper screen stretching method
  • Commonly used frame adhesive
  • Photographic Printing or develop image on Screen Frame
  • Proper rinsing of screens frame
  • Retouching of Screen Frame
  • Preparation for Printing
  • Proper way to apply table adhesive on platen
  • Actual Printing using the Line Table
  • Drying procedure
  • Proper way of Curing
  • How to recycle of old Screen Frame

CMYK PROCESS | HALFTONE | PLASTISOL INK

  • What is CMYK Printing Process?
  • Proper Color Separation Procedure
  • Stencil / Inkjet film printing
  • Preparation of Aluminum Frame
  • Application of Photo Emulsion
  • Photographic printing or develop image on Screen Frame
  • Screen Frame alignment using Micro Registration
  • Preparation for Printing
  • Actual Printing using the Rotary Table

SIMULATION PROCESS | HALFTONE | PLASTISOL INK

  • What is Simulation Printing Process?
  • Proper Color Separation Procedure
  • Stencil / Inkjet film printing
  • Preparation of Aluminum Frame
  • Application of Photo Emulsion
  • Photographic printing or develop image on Screen Frame

End of Day 2

POST-WORKSHOP ACTIVITY:

After the workshop, we will require you to present your own production output sample at your own place for us to measure what you have learned from us during the 2-day workshop.
